FI 101 - the absolute basics

of the two-handed fair isle technique


Weaving in (of out) of a new yarn is done by using the "float catching" technique

with your needle inserted in the next stitch, lay the new yarn over the needle as shown - tail to the right, ball of yarn over the needle to the left
